Pownall Probex Probus Club membership is for fully-retired or partly-retired individuals who have taken a lead

role in an initiative in the workplace, the community or as a volunteer.

Its aim is to promote the well-being of the members through interesting social activities and congenial

companionship.

Membership is limited to 50 people who are retired or semi-retired, thereby encouraging and promoting

fellowship.

We presently have vacancies for new members. Perhaps the most important difference compared to other

organisations for retired people is that because we limit our membership to 50 men, we create a warm and

welcoming ambience in which each member is valued and involved.

Prospective members should contact one of the committee members who will then invite you to attend two

meetings at a guest  so as to be introduced to the club and its activities.

Annual membership of the Pownall Probex Probus Club is £45.00 per annum. There is also a charge, currently £3,

at each meeting to pay for the excellent coffee and biscuits provided by the pub.
